This resource provides a pictorial essay about how to create a recycling system in an urban primary school. Use this resource to inspire your school to think about and actualise sorting rubbish in a 700+ student school.

A series of four recycling posters to teach students how to sort their school rubbish. The posters represent landfill, paper and cardboard, soft plastics and mixed containers. Each poster contains images of rubbish students are likely to encounter in a primary school setting and a brief description of each kind of rubbish. The posters are specifically designed to be attached to school recycling bins to remind students how to sort their playground rubbish. Yet they can also be displayed in classrooms or around school as a part of a sustainability education program.
